Terms of Use
Last updated: [8th October 2025]
1. Introduction
Welcome to Trident Facades Surveys (“we,” “us,” “our”).
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our website, https://tridentfacadessurveys.co.uk (“the Site”), and any services provided through it.
By using our Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Our service simplifies the process of obtaining compliant EWS1 reports by managing all aspects of site access, equipment hire, and permit coordination, ensuring that all surveys adhere to PAS 9980 guidance. We then arrange for qualified and certified fire engineers to review and sign off the completed reports.
2. User Responsibilities
When using our website or requesting a quote, you agree to:
Provide Accurate Information
You are responsible for providing complete and accurate details about your property and project requirements. This information is essential for us to organise access, permits, and coordinate accurate EWS1 surveys.
Comply with Laws
You agree to use our website and services in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, including building safety and local authority requirements.
Maintain Security
You must keep confidential any information exchanged during your project coordination process and must not use the Site for unlawful or unauthorised purposes.
Respect Intellectual Property
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content from our Site (including text, graphics, or branding) without our prior written permission.
3. Our Services
When you engage Trident Facades Surveys, the process generally follows three stages:
1. Submit Project Details
You provide basic information about your building and the EWS1 survey requirements.
2. Receive a Proposal
We will provide a clear, itemised proposal that outlines all-inclusive costs covering access, equipment hire, permits, and the professional survey process.
3. Coordination & Certification
We take care of the full coordination, including:
- Arranging all necessary access equipment (e.g., MEWPs, scissor lifts, scaffolding)
- Securing local authority or landowner permits
- Ensuring all site activities and survey works comply with PAS 9980
- Organising qualified and accredited fire engineers to review and sign off the completed EWS1 report
You acknowledge that Trident Facades Surveys acts as a coordination and management service.
Final responsibility for technical accuracy, professional conduct, and certification of reports lies with the independent accredited fire engineer who signs off the EWS1 form.
